"The Lodge at Wellington" is a place where you can board your pets and feel confident that they will receive the utmost personal care and attention while you are away. We understand that you may have concerns when leaving your pet behind and we want to give you peace of mind by providing a warm, loving, safe and secure environment where your pet can feel more "at home". Our friendly and caring staff adheres to the highest standard of care to ensure your pet is treated with professional & tender loving care. An added benefit of boarding with a veterinary clinic is that each pet is supervised and cared for by trained staff members and should an emergency or illness arise, treatment is readily available. We offer extra services and loving attention to pamper your pet. While your pet is staying with us, you can also make arrangements for bathing, grooming, spay or neuter, or dental care.

"The Lodge at Wellington" is a separate facility from our hospital so that our visiting canine guests have less risk of exposure to hospitalized patients. The lodging and grooming entrance is located on the east side of the building.

The Lodge at Wellington is climate-controlled for year round comfort and is clean and bright with vaulted ceilings, sky lights, and ceiling fans with a "view of the sky" and a mountainous backdrop painted by our local artist and employee, David Pavlak.

We offer three levels of accommodations for canine guests:

• The Lodge Luxury Suites
• The Villas Lodging
• The Wilds Lodging

The Lodge Luxury Suites are beautifully decorated private rooms with an open, vaulted ceiling and fan, tiled walls, glass door and viewing window with an outside window for light and fresh air. Your dog can go outside to a private potty area accessible through a “doggie door”. Each suite has an automatic, fresh watering system, and comfortable “off the floor” bedding.

We offer two sizes of Lodge Luxury Suites: Premier Luxury 8ft x 12ft suites to accommodate larger breeds or multiple dogs, and Standard Luxury 8ft x 8ft suites for regular sized dogs. Each Luxury Suite offers "Live Lodge Cam" for viewing your dog via the internet while you are away. Optional Ala Cart services and gourmet treats are available to "spoil" your precious pooch during your absence. We also offer Luxury Lodging Rewards for clients who frequently lodge in a luxury suite. Points are earned for every day of lodging and never expired. Points can be redeemed for such things as future grooming, toe nail trim, fecal test or a free day of boarding!

The Villas and The Wilds offer traditional style kennels in three sizes (4ft x 8ft, 4ft x 7ft, & 4ft x 4ft) depending on your needs. Both provide daily housekeeping, frequent outside potty breaks, and bedding.

Regardless of which lodging you select, your precious pooch will receive loving care and personal attention in a healthy & safe environment with clean bedding, twice a day feedings with a premium diet (or your own diet if you prefer), frequent potty breaks, health monitoring and charting, and a detailed “go home” report. We offer optional group playtime for dogs that are well socialized, leash walking, and special treats to make your pet feel at home. ***Additional pets from the same family staying in the same suite qualify for a discount and a free courtesy bath is provided after a 3-day stay.

DOGGIE PLAYCARE

We offer a playcare service for your dog while you are away from home during the day. There are many reasons you may want to use this service. It may be helpful for young dogs that have chewing or destructive behavior problems or during potty training. It can help with socializing your dog with other dogs. It can also be helpful for adult dogs that are stressed and need companionship or care during your absence. Lastly if your dog has special medical conditions that require a strict medicine schedule, doggy playcare can be helpful. Please call ahead to schedule your reservation for doggie playcare. You can drop off your dog in the morning and pick him or her up before our closing time.

PURR-FECT PLACE KITTY CONDOS

The Purr-fect Place is special room just for cats, surrounded by glass near our lobby and features condos with two sections, one for lounging and the second for a private, vented litter box. The upper condo units have a view to the outside. Cats are provided daily housekeeping, clean bedding and are fed a premium feline veterinary diet or per your instructions. Kitty Play Time is offered where your kitty can leave their condo to play or lounge on kitty platforms. We also offer Ala Cart services to make your kitty feel at home; extra playtime, one-on-one cuddle time, Kitty Grass, Cap Nip Craze, or an email picture of your cat while you are away. Additional cats from the same family staying in the same condo qualify for a discount.
