"The Lodge at Wellington" is a place where you can board your pets and feel confident that they will receive the utmost personal care and attention while you are away. We understand that you may have concerns when leaving your pet behind and we want to give you peace of mind by providing a warm, loving, safe and secure environment where your pet can feel more "at home". Our friendly and caring staff adheres to the highest standard of care to ensure your pet is treated with professional & tender loving care. An added benefit of boarding with a veterinary clinic is that each pet is supervised and cared for by trained staff members and should an emergency or illness arise, treatment is readily available. We offer extra services and loving attention to pamper your pet. While your pet is staying with us, you can also make arrangements for bathing, grooming, spay or neuter, or dental care.

"The Lodge at Wellington" is a separate facility from our hospital so that our visiting canine guests have less risk of exposure to hospitalized patients. The lodging and grooming entrance is located on the east side of the building.

The Lodge at Wellington is clean and bright with vaulted ceilings, sky lights, and ceiling fans with a "view of the sky" and a mountainous backdrop painted by our local artist and employee, David Pavlak.

The indoor facility is climate-controlled for year round comfort. We offer three levels of accommodations for our canine guests; Luxury Resort Suites, The Villas, and The Wilds. All lodging offer personal, loving care with frequent potty breaks, twice a day feedings, plus optional gourmet treats, group or individual playtime, and leash walking.

Each private Luxury Resort Suite has an open, vaulted ceiling and fan, tiled walls, glass door and viewing window with an outside window for light and fresh air. Your dog can go outside to their private outdoor run through their doggie door. Each luxury resort suite also has an automatic, sensing fresh water system, and comfortable bedding to provide an "at-home" feeling.

We offer two sizes of Luxury Resort Suites: two suites to accommodate larger breeds and ten rooms for regular sized dogs. Each Luxury Suite offers "Live Lodge Cam" for viewing your dog via the internet while you are away. Additional services and gourmet treats are available to "spoil" your precious pooch during your absence.

The other two levels of accommodations are The Villa's which are located in the luxury area and The Wild's located in a sound proof room. Both offer traditional style kennels in three sizes depending on your needs.

Regardless of which lodging you select, your precious pooch will receive loving care, personal attention, along with clean bedding and freshly prepared, veterinary premium diet fed twice a day or per your instructions. We offer plenty of outside potty breaks and optional group playtime for dogs that are well socialized to play with other dogs. Other services are available and include leash walking, gourmet doggy treats, and extra indoor playtime in our exercise room or outdoor playtime in our large runs (weather permitting).

DOGGIE DAYCARE

We offer daycare service for your dog while you are away from home during the day. There are many reasons you may want to use this service. If may be helpful for young dogs that have chewing or destructive behavior problems or during potty training. It can help with socializing your dog with other dogs. It can also be helpful for adult dogs that are stressed and need companionship or care during your absence. Lastly if your dog has special medical conditions that require strict medicine schedule, doggy day care can be helpful. Please call ahead to schedule your reservation for doggie day care. You can drop off your dog in the morning and pick him or her up before our closing time. Please call ahead to schedule this service.

PURR-FECT PLACE KITTY CONDOS

We offer a separate and quiet room for cat lodging. Each kitty condo has two sections, one for lounging and play, and second area for a vented, private litter box. The upper condo's have an outside window to peer out. Cats are provided with clean bedding and are fed a premium feline veterinary diet per your instructions, unless you would prefer to bring your own. Kitty Play time is offered daily when our staff performs daily house cleaning and cats can roam for exercise and playtime. We offer other services to make your kitty feel at home; extra playtime, one-on-one cuddle time, Kitty Grass, and Cap Nip Craze.
