What is On-Line Pharmacy?

We offer an On-Line Pharmacy service as a convenience for our clients to order veterinary products that are shipped directly to their homes. Over 650 products are available for cats and dogs, and include heartworm and flea prevention products, pet diets, nutritional supplements, dental products, prescription and non-prescription medications, shampoos, ear and eye medication, and more. These products are provided direct from manufacturers (such as Purina, Bayer, Novartis, and Pfizer) and carry the same product guarantee that we provide from our in-house pharmacy, ensuring you receive the same quality products you would get from us.

In addition, as a cost savings, some generic heartworm preventatives are now available. Other services offered with On-Line Pharmacy include receiving a product newsletter, tracking your orders, receiving new product notifications, sending us an email, and much more. On-Line Pharmacy is a safe, secure website. Best of all it's a convenient way to order veterinary products for your beloved pets and it's a free service to our clients.

What is required to use On-Line Pharmacy?

All you need is to be an established client of the Wellington Veterinary Clinic and a credit card to process your order. In order to receive prescription medications, we must have a doctor-patient relationship with your pet, and we must have seen your pet within the last 6 months. If you are not currently a client and would like to become one, please call our office during normal business hours to set up an appointment.

How do I sign up to start using On-Line Pharmacy?

Click on the On-Line Pharmacy icon located on our website and you will be directed to a separate website. Click on "Create an account" and follow the prompts to enter your email address, your name, address, and your pet's information. Once you have submitted your account information, we will review and approve your account typically within 2 business days.

You will then receive an email with your user name and password. You can also change your password if you desire. You can then log on to the On-Line Pharmacy and shop for products. Follow the prompts to select your products, enter your shipping preference, and your credit card information. Within 1-2 business days, your order will be processed (and approved for any prescription medications), and then it will be shipped to the address you provide. Free shipping is offered on orders over a certain dollar amount; excluding diets (please see On-Line Pharmacy for specific details).

How does On-Line Pharmacy differ from Pet Portals?

Our On-Line Pharmacy service is a different website service from Pet Portals. These are two separate services with a different logon process, user name, and password. Our On-Line Pharmacy is for you to order products on-line using a credit card for shipment to your home. Pet Portals is an educational service linked to your pet's medical file, allowing you to receive reminders and communicate with us via email for appointments or prescription refills for pick up at our office. Pet Portals does not provide for ordering or shipping products to your home. Both are free services offered to clients of the Wellington Veterinary Clinic.
