EMERGENCY SERVICES
We are well equipped to handle any emergency both during regular office hours and after hours. We offer emergency service 24 hours/day, 7 days a week. Please call our main phone number at 440-647-4100 any time you need emergency services. An emergency fee will apply.

DROP OFF SERVICES
We understand that you are often busy and it's not always feasible for you to be present for a sick or medical appointment. We offer an early morning drop off service for your sick pet providing you have called ahead to make arrangements. After dropping off your sick or injured pet, you will be called after the initial exam to discuss treatment recommendations. The requested services will be performed during the course of the day and you can pick up your pet at the end of the day.

MICROCHIPPING
For the safety of your pet, it is important to keep your pet properly identified. While collars and ID tags are helpful, the best way to permanently identify your pet is with a microchip. Microchips are safe, unalterable and a permanent identification for pets. A tiny microchip is injected under your pet's skin, between the shoulder blades. The entire procedure is similar to a vaccination and takes less than 10 seconds. With a microchip, your pet can be identified quickly and easily by animal control offices, shelters or at veterinary hospitals. We offer microchipping for companion animals and alpaca. There is a national network for microchipping where your pet's microchip can be registered.

OBEDIENCE TRAINING
As a special service to clients of Wellington Veterinary Clinic, we offer a service called "Trainer on Call" provided by Ann Rogers, owner of Happy Tails to You. She offers a one-on-one consultation service for canine problems with advice on house breaking, biting, whining, jumping, etc. Ann also offers puppy and obedience classes. PHARMACY AND ON-LINE PHARMACY
We offer a fully stocked pharmacy as a convenience for our clients at our hospital. As an added benefit, monthly preventative and long term use medications are competitively priced. We purchase our products directly from manufacturers who guarantee their safety and efficacy. You can be assured that we will stand behind medications, vaccinations and other medical products which we provide. Best of all, you can take home your medications with you after your appointment.
Also, for your convenience we offer an online pharmacy through Pet Portals where you can purchase many products (such as generic heartworm, prevention, flea prevention, diets, some prescriptions and non-prescription medications, and more). Online orders are shipped directly to your door. Pet Portals offers a free service to remind you to reorder your regularly used medications. Free shipping is also available over a certain dollar amount (please see the details on the online store).
Lastly, at your request we will write a prescription for your pet's medication should you prefer while you are here for your pet's appointment. We must have a doctor-patient relationship with your pet. If you are not currently a client and would like to become one, please call our office during normal business hours to set up an appointment.

PET PORTALS
Pet Portals is an on-line service offered to our clients. It is designed to help you learn about pet health care and to manage your pet's health care. With Pet Portals you can view your pet's records, reminders for vaccinations and medication history, request medication refills, appointments or boarding reservations, update your account and pet information, and inform us of address, phone, or email changes. You can also learn about health care and vaccination recommendations; receive periodic emails from us including an annual birthday greeting for your pet. You can learn about how to best care for your pet. Best of all it's fun and free to our clients. All you have to do is log-on to request your Pet Portals sign on and password.
